Cape Cod Meditation Circle Services start with a prayer followed by a reading from the inspirational writings and lectures of Paramahansa Yogananda and SRF Monastics, and by devotional chanting leading into silent meditation periods of 10 to 45 minutes. Our Services are concluded with a healing Prayer Service as part of the Self-Realization Fellowship World Wide Prayer Circle. Two-Hour Sunday Meditations: (currently suspended)

On the first Sunday of each month, there will be a two-hour meditation. On this day, the Inspirational Service will be from 9 am to 9:45 am, and the meditation service will begin at 10:00 am with chanting at 10 minutes to the hour and the meditation concluding at 12 pm. If you are unable to stay for the two hours, we ask that you leave during a period of chanting.

Kirtan Services:

A Kirtan and Meditation Service is held on the first Wednesday of every month, starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 7:30 pm.

Chanting, or kirtan, helps to arouse devotion and interiorize one’s consciousness.

Utilizing the cumulative power of repetition, we sing chants not once but many times, out loud for 5 to 15 or 20 minutes, and then internally, until we feel great bliss wafting through the radio of our heart. When this joy is felt, it is proof that God has answered us, and that our devotion has been properly tuned; the broadcasting of our ardor in chanting has been true and deep.
